I have been dealing with game engines for over a decade, using them not only to create fun games, but also for military simulations and Virtual reality applications for real fighter pilots.

Also I made many serious games for disabled people to use in their treatment.

Well, here’s to maiden voyages.

The team has an incredible amount of experience, not just the overall technical experience but also in blockchain and game development. But I assume that with the scale of this project, that even with decades worth of experience accumulated across the entire team, there would still be some bumps in the road that would need finessing. Would you mind telling us about some of the technical hurdles you had to overcome and how they were eventually tackled?

As a team, we wanted to do different things

there was no such game ecosystem in the avalanche network where people could play against each other instantly, we planned to do this in the best way possible.

Our goal is to reach the same level of games such as Hearthstone and Legends of Runeterra. Competing with companies like Riot Games.

For this reason, we have developed an application infrastructure that is on the ground and we still continue to improve it .

Of course, it is not an easy process. In order to make a difference, we need to do what has not been done in the best possible way. We are working very hard for this.
Our community values and supports us very much as they witness these.

To give an example about the technical bump, our HON token is created on the X-chain and then transferred to C-chain to be used in the smart contracts. We’ve done that. But there’s a caveat: no wallet is ready for the X-chain token transactions. We believe the new updates on Avalanche Wallet will allow our users to do low cost transactions with HON token.

Heroes of NFT is entering a market where both competition and demand is not falling short. What competitive advantage do you think Heroes of NFT has over other NFT and Metaverse projects?

Deniz| Heroes of NFT

I believe we are the only project on Avalanche that has a collectible card game that can be played. Having an interactive game that you can play against your opponents as opposed to a browser-based idle game differentiates us from the many projects on the Avalanche network.
Most of the game projects as you know don’t have their playable games yet.

Well done and I agree re: the playable aspects of the game are going to matter.

I noticed that some of the game mechanics employed have their own unique approach. For instance, users and players will be able to create their own Metasphere and roam across the entire Metaverse encompassing these different layers, looking for ways to level up either through arena battles or tournaments. Let’s talk a little bit about what these game mechanics are and how they work to create this high-level engagement?

First of all, I want to give a general idea about the game mechanics.

We had three basic thoughts

1-Playing a game should not exceed 5 minutes

2-It should have a very simple and understandable structure so that new people will not be intimidated.

3-On the one hand, it should be complex enough and open to future developments so that players will not get bored after playing for a while.

I want to start by explaining the simplest mechanics of the game.

It is a turn-by-turn card game
The game starts with 10 cards
3 battles are made and 3 hero cards are used in each battle.
Whoever wins 2 of the 3 battles wins the game

Let me give some explanations about Metasphere

Metasphere is an estate in HON world

Metasphere is an estate in HON world. Where people are able to spend their time with their 3d avatars, make trades and duels, interact with other players etc.

In their Metasphere people are able to create their own tournaments with their rules. For example, they can make the tournament only for 32 people , they can set entrée fee as X and the total price as Y and only rare cards are welcomed etc.

Actually there is more to talk about Metasphere. I would like to meet with the community in the future if they want me to talk about more 👀

One distinguishing factor for Heroes of NFT is that while it is launching on Avalanche it is designed to be a cross-chain card-game and Metaverse. Can we get some insight about the infrastructure to enable this? What level is this infrastructure at, and when will it be fully compatible to support different blockchains, and what will those be?

I believe If Defikintaro our blockchain developer and co founder was here he would explain better than me 🙂

Designing the infrastructure we thought that loosely coupling the blockchain connections with our game is the best idea in case of adding the new blockchains.

Currently we live in the Avalanche ecosystem and believe that the Avalanche subnets will connect the many blockchains. With having this vision we’ve developed the HON token as subnet ready. After the official activation of the subnets on Avalanche, we will have our own Heroes Subnet. We’ve already readied our validator nodes to enable that feature.

Speaking of this multi-chain infrastructure, there are two tokens at play, HON and HRM. Some people might be wondering why there is a dual-economy to power this single ecosystem. Can we help clarify the need for having these two economic structures, and how they tailor to different aspects of the gameplay ecosystem?

The HON Token serves as a governance token and it is hard capped to 200m.

We’ll distribute it via yield farming and NFT and HON token staking in addition to the sales round. it will be used in the marketplace by our gamers. Our land sales will also be conducted in HON Token.

You can gain HRM token by winning games through game experiences or tournaments.
HRM also can be spent in-game shops for in-game items. These in-game items can be used only once. The spent Digital Hrm then burns (sinks)

Separating the limited token with the reward token HRM gives us a better control on the total inflation and deflation rate. As you know inflationary tokens are bad but it’s a lot harder to stop the deflation.
Our tokenomics is prepared to give the most of the HON ownership to our community. To support our ecosystem’s growth we’re not making our economy a closed system. For that we’re proposing our metaverse and land usage. Land owners will be able to rent their lands as well as rent their heroes this will crush the entry barrier in our game.

One interesting element that not many game projects have before planning a launch is an MVP or a playable version, but of course this is not the case with Heroes of NFT. In fact, the beta version has been out for some time, now closed but can still be played. First of all, I’d like to ask how the beta testing event went, and secondly now that the beta testing is completed players are still able to access the version but requires them to hold at least 10 Heroes NFTs to participate? Can either or both of you comment on these two points?

Firstly, We value our beta testers and their opinions are very important to us.
They are our strategic partners 🙂

According to feedback from our alpha testers, they always told us that the game is addictive. and at this moment, we are using just only two attributes of our NFT character cards but all others attributes have already been coded to our NFT’s and by time we are going to activate it. The game mechanics will become more complex and increase the fun of game play.

Secondly, development is a process and we will develop more and more every day. Since it opened, we have never closed it until today. Everyone with 10NFT’s can access and play the game for sure. And they can witness progress 🙂

Looking ahead, there are a lot of plans for NFT integration in the game economy, from the marketplace to NFTs as avatars, all the way through to Heroes costumes/cards and so on. Can you give us a high-level overview of these NFTs and how their integration with the different classes and rarity levels aim to foster a synergistic relationship with the rest of the game mechanics.

The thing about our unique Hero Nfts is: each of them have a unique seed with many parameters inside.

By looking these parameters we can decide the character’s class, attack defense ratio, colors, what item slots he has and etc. The item NFTs will be generated by staking Hon tokens then the users will assign these NFTs to our Hero cards and increase their powers and abilities.
The avatar NFTs are the next thing we’ll offer to our community. They’ll be 3D customizable to the personal taste.

The players will them use these NFTs to make a living in our Metasphere 🙂
Our marketplace will be run with Hon token. Players will either trade Erc721 or Erc1155 tokens alike. Also we’d like to provide opportunity to direct swaps between NFTs.

With such a complex economy to drive the ecosystem, there will be safety concerns. What safety measures and priorities have been taken to make the smart-contracts exploitation proof? What about the NFTs, how is the security around it?

Our Hon token and Yield farm is audited by Certik. We’ve been absolutely cautious when writing our contracts.

before deploying they are reviewed by the different cyber security experts. So we’re confident about our development flow. Also for the backend infrastructure we’re working with private clouds of some trusted providers. Securing p2e economy system is hard but not impossible.

Considering the magnitude of the project, long-term goals and visions are important. What does the long-term ambition for Heroes of NFT look like? Will there be any additional features added on top of the myriad already in the works?

As I said before Our goal is to reach the same level of games as Hearthstone and Legends of Runeterra. Competing with companies like Riot Games.

We are creating A metaverse from scratch with unique heroes and stories. And any of you can be part of it. Maybe your avatar is going to be a new hero and epics will be written in your name. We really want to make it real and do what is necessary.

We planned to launch our game with our spell cards and in game items. I believe that it will greatly increase the pleasure and excitement it will give.
Which means our game side is going to be renewed with our new art style, animation and UI elements. Which is very near. I am super excited about it.
Also In near future we also start to implement our Virtual Reality version. It is also going to level up what we have done so far. Virtual Reality is my passion. Really want to pass that part. But first things first.

From a development perspective, which challenges did you have to rise above, and do you think there has been any advantages to undertaking the massive task to build such intricate gameplay on Avalanche as opposed to different blockchains?

Deniz| Heroes of NFT

I think the most challenging part is to create a unique and random enough hero card on the fly. Maybe it’s not quite obvious but our NFT creation mechanism is one of a kind in the whole blockchain ecosystem not just on Avalanche. So that the contract is able to create nearly 14k unique hero cards.
We’ve gathered our community in the Avalanche ecosystem, they’re our strong supporters and so that we’ve come so far and created innovative ideas. Also the low fees and instant finality feature of Avalanche empowers our system to be very fast compared to the Ethereum network. We may go with the other L1 chains but they’re simply not expandable as Avalanche right now. Imagine the future Heroes Subnet is going to be part of L1 blockchain and will allow free transactions with instant finality. We don’t need to build a L2 chain like Axie did.

Now the final question before we move on to queries from the good peope out in the twitterverse…For final thoughts, is there anything that either of you are excited about to see in the near future and would like to share with the rest of the Avalaunch community?

What we have done so far gives us strength about what we will do. We are planning to publish mobile and pc versions of the game to make it more accessible. I just really want people to play our game in their spare time and fun.

I mean, for example; you make money while taking a dump.

Of Course we are, our lovely community already took action before us and made some tutorials.

We are waiting for the first version of the game to come out, because the game itself will change a lot and will not have much to do with the present. We will make animated tutorials to make sure make everything is clear

Currently 10 HRO NFT cards are needed. But in the new feature we are going to publish our mobile version to took people attention and grab them to the Avalanche network! In the mobile version, you will be able to play the game without any investment but you can not earn for the moment.

@Bambang97516553 — I could see that Heroes Of NFT has been working with ChainLink. What is the main purpose of this collaboration? Exactly what aspects of your project do you hope ChainLink can help you improve?

We wanted to create a strategy game like chess

But it wouldn’t fit into crypto world. Because it may be boring. So we added a chance factor. In this version you are rolling dice for example. We are going to use ChainLink VRF solution to make sure the chance factor is really random.

Hello, I’m Halil. I am a graduate of Electrical and Electronics Eng. I also did my MBA at the same university. It is one of the best university in my country. I have systems engineering and many years of management experience. I am an early investor of Avalanche. I have validators. I’ve been in crypto since 2016. I was working in a multination company and we wanted to do our own project in crypto, which we love and turn it into a lifestyle. I have been developing the Heroes of NFT project with my teammates since April 2021. I am the CEO of the project. Also i am one of early investor of Avalanche , i have validators and very well know person in Avalanche Turkey Community.

There’s a bit of an atmospheric vibe to this team, in the sense that the idea of Heroes of NFT originated from a card game — not something you hear everyday! How did that experience inspire you and the rest involved to create a formula for blockchain users, game enthusiasts and NFT lovers? I can only presume that refinement was key!

We got that comment from our investors as well. As a team we are different in a good way. Creativity and innovation are the core competencies of the team. Especially i really like our brainstorming sessions and thinking loudly talks. During one of this session, we had that idea to create a nft based card game for Avalanche. We believe the best way to utilize NFTs to a game and to economy is the card game.

This “cocktail napkin” will be a valuable NFT one day. Heroes of NFT is best described as a platform that enables users of all types that embrace blockchain gaming to derive ‘real world’ value. Would you be kind enough to describe to us the in-game mechanics and the revenue generated models users can benefit from by using the platform?

We have created an innovative division of labor in the Heroes of NFT ecosystem. With this model, users can enjoy Heroes of NFT without having to play the game.

Early investors, which we call Farmers, will benefit from providing HON tokens to the ecosystem thanks to the yield farming protocol.

Gamers who will make up the majority will earn HRM tokens by playing the game. They will also be the ones who spend AVAX to buy NFTs and spend HON in the marketplace for Hero NFTs, skins, terrains, hero superpowers, hero items and spend HRM for in-game items.

Workers who will not play the game as much as gamers but who still want to earn income from Heroes of NFT will earn income by staking character NFTs together with HON tokens.

but the important thing is that we will provide AVAX to our ecosystem. We don’t delegate creating of new NFTs to enter the HON ecosystem to our community. Because we don’t want any high entry barrier for the game. We will share the revenue of our NFT sales with the community via buy backs of hon tokens after we implement our play to earn mechanism

in game mechanics is something that we really give high importance.

We wanted to create game mechanics that look easy to attract non gamers but getting more complicated when they used to play. According to feedbacks from our alpha testers, they always told us that the game is addictive and at this moment, we are using just only two attributes of our NFT character cards but all others attributes have already been coded to our NFT’s and by time we are going to activate it. The game mechanics will become more complex and increase the fun of game play.

Having both passive and active income opportunities is great. As is the provision of AVAX for users. I know that you have a fair amount of AVAX already in the contracts. Well done.

NFTs have been on the rise for a few months already, and according to a report looking at NFT sales on Opensea (one major marketplace for trading non-fungible tokens) January registered as a record high month for NFT trades. Obviously, Heroes of NFT has a strong element of this. Can you outline to us these in-game NFTs, like minting, rarity levels, and how their integration comes into play?

We are the only project i guess which is able to continuous sale of NFTs. We sold more than 13k Nfts on avalanche and has made a revenue of more than 5700 avax at this moment. We are not a jpeg nft project. people love the idea and the implementation

The NFT assets are the core component of the gameplay. The players will be challenged by the game and by each other with the hero (HRO) cards. Other NFT assets which will be generated by players in the ecosystem and sold in the marketplace will enrich the gameplay thus making it more enjoyable. While NFT assets are player-ownable, they’re also tradable on the marketplace. Moreover, by staking NFT Cards together with your Hon tokens, you can have passive income. You can buy our NFT Cards on our website, Kalao and NFTrade

Heroes of NFT Cards have some rules that had already been coded on your unique cards. These simple rules are coded in colors and with icons. Heroes of NFT has five different rarity levels. These are Common Cards, Uncommon Cards, Rare Cards, Epic Cards and Legendary Cards. Each card has a different frame and different color scheme. These color schemes are showing the uniqueness of your card. Common Cards are the most issued cards whereas Epic Cards are less common cards. But the greatness is happening in the background. we created an inhouse developed algorithm for creation of our Nfts, there are many coded attributes that we haven’t activated yet. please take a look to this greatness.

As an on-chain card game, Heroes of NFT faces a competitive space not just for blockchain-gaming but also NFTs. How does the game mechanics ensure that extra degree of differentiation?

I believe we are the only project on Avalanche that has a collectible card game that can be played. Even our first version of the game was a peer to peer with PvP mode. We are very competitive in terms of game fun. We are not a click to earn or an idle battle game. By the way, our community has been experiencing our game with their 10 NFT cards and also they can play each other or against AI bots.

Agreed. It is a key differentiator — Anybody doing a little research will come to realize that Heroes of NFT is more than just a game with strong NFT elements, and that it immerses the player into a new world of heroes — the Heroes Metaverse set in the year 2073. The first set of the story has been released but there’s also a second part coming out in this quarter. What can you tell us so far about this second part to the Metaverse story?

We have characters and our players can create emotional attachments with their favorite characters. it is very important feature of our game. We are working with a creative director to write the stories of our characters and also she is taking care of new addition of the character to hon world.

The second part is being written to establish exactly how the heroes relate to the game. The first chapter was concerned with who they are and the second chapter will be about how do they end up phosphania. It’s a journey.

Staking NFT with HON token is for our small investors who do not want to lose money in any permanent loss. Another benefit of the HON is that it will be used in the marketplace by our gamers. Our land sales will also be conducted in HON Token. Moreover while our workers are creating new NFTs for the players, they need to have HON tokens and also to access special feature of the game HON token is a requirement. HON token will have many more utilities in the future but as a summary above utilities will be established firstly

HRM token is our in game reward token. You can gain HRM token by winning games and tournaments and HRM can be pended at in-game shop for in-game items. These in-game items can be used only once. They spent Digital Hrm then burns. Whenever someone uses HRM token it will be burned. By the way we have a very creative reward system which we created for our game. It is a reward path system and when we deployed it, people will really like it.

The roadmap shows some exciting milestones for this quarter. What grabbed my attention and wanted to find out more about the economy model. Can you expand on all that’s coming on that front? I’m sure future token holders would want to hear more about that.

we are crypto people and we are creating our model in this sense. first thing first, we will share the revenue of our NFT sales via buybacks. It is amazing and after we deployed the final version according to our models and also the growth of avalanche ecosystem, we saw that we are going to do epic buy backs with the revenue coming from our NFT sales. this is the advantage of GAMEFI and we will utilize it.😍

the other thing is that we are creating really good incentive for our hon token holders. They will be free of impermanent loss risk while they are staking their NFT cards with hon tokens. They will create LPs and deposit it to our yield farming contract.

Also we are going to create very innovative way of creating revenue from our metaverse! in the past people were watching the advertisement on tv or reading it on newspaper. now advertisement medium is social media. the next big thing in marketing will be metaverse advertisement.

Anyone who are holding our hon tokens will enjoy the creativity and make good income with the innovation. even I don’t need to mention about yield farming.

3D lobby is actually consists of metaspheres which is a kind of land that gives some great features to its owners. It is not just a simple place. For example, owners can create their own tournaments. And all rules are going to be defined by the owners or Clan members.
Actually, there is a lot to say about metaspheres. Renting heroes or arranging customizable tournaments are very important for game guilds and we will provide the feature to land owners. i believe heroes of nft community will create many guilds in heroes of nft. For instance, imagine you have a community and arranging a tournament and taking the entrance fee to yourself and distributing the rewards to the winner!

New Characters mean new stories and new passions. They are like babies to us. Our design team works hard for the new characters. I am really excited about that. we will add many more characters to the game. It is never ending process. This is one of the advantage of collectible card games since players want to add new cards to their decks.

Costumes are important as well. Because it’s the costumes that make you look different. So your avatar does. Your avatars are going to have customizable parts. You can customize your avatars with NFT’s that you have already owned! This is also a unique feature that we will bring.

Our Virtual Reality implementation is going to level up what we have done so far and put a lot into it. Our aim is to create a perfect transition to Virtual Reality. And make the whole world hear about us. This is just the beginning. We have a great team and I have faith. By the way, AR and VR technologies are not a new field for us. We have great experience about AR and VR technologies. It is my personnel opinion but the big thing in crypto is gamefi at this moment. Heroes of nft is a gamefi project. But the next big thing in crypto will be AR and VR implementations.

The important thing to control the inflation of game reward token is to create utilities for the token itself. Our approach is always like that how we can create utility for the token itself. if there is not enough utility, than inflation of the token in retrospect is inevitable

we are working with traderjoe for liquidity bootstrapping. With the rocket joe tool, there will be a very healthy price discovery period and also tokens will be available for both parties with an exact timing. Or you have hon cards and you are staking it to create new nft and you will be able to sell it to gamers. the limit is sky. since we are a team from crypto, we created great solutions for everyone. but by the way, our matches are not taking long time. in five minutes, matches can be finalized. you don’t need to spend many hours in our game.

our token is xchain and cchain compatible. as it is known, these are main subnets in fact. it means we are ready for subnets. for instance in case that there is a bottleneck in cchain, our users will be able to withdraw their token to xchain and they will transfer them easily. but at this moment no wallet is supporting this feature. by the way, we are the only project on avalanche which provides this feature to the users. we have subnets plans. i am one of the biggest validators on avalanche turkey community and i will provide many validators for Heroes of NFT subnet.

I’m sure you’ve been running yourself ragged on the AMA circuit and elsewhere. And yes, it is indeed a massive turnout and a ton of interest for your project. Our community knows quality.

Let’s start from the beginning even if there is some overlap from last time. Would you once again tell us a little bit about yourself, what did your previous roles look like before joining the Heroes Chained team?

I have a BS degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Bogazici University. I have over 20 years of experience in the software and IT sector, as a developer, engineer, sales executive, manager, CTO, CEO, and entrepreneur. Prior to Inventuna I was the co-founder, chief software architect and lead developer of KodA, a top IT and software company of Turkey. I have been blockchain since 2017. Interested mostly in the technological aspect. I have written posts in the Cryptography Mail List. Mostly on decentralization, and security limitations of POW and POS.

Let’s push the pace a bit then Sir. Speaking of experience, Heroes Chained team is pedigree level, with famous artists from the makers of Game of Thrones, blockchain experts and so on. By far this is the most skilled and experienced team I’ve come across in a long-time. And so out of curiosity, how did this ‘Dream Team’ come about? How did you manage to align and condense everyone’s vision into Heros Chained?

Erhan, my brother and partner in our previous company is the best gamer I have ever seen. He always had a dream to found a game development company. I always supported him on that idea. Since the 2018 bear in the crypto space, he has been thinking about use cases for blockchain. He has been telling me that gaming is the best use case for blockchain. We were waiting for the right time. The beginning of 2021, he told me “Bro, now is the right time”. Then he went to our close friend Salih the co-founder of CBKSoft. Acquired by first Aramex and later by Iron Mountain. Explained him the blockchain and gaming revolution. He gets aboard with his cofounder friends at CBKSoft. So the core founders are the founders of the two top software companies of the country.

We have noticed issues in the basic strategies of early play-to-earn project. We thought that the best way to attack those issues is to develop a great game. Like the ones in the conventional games industry, providing us best practices. But we needed and experienced top game developer team. Who do we go to in Turkey? No contest. We went to Mev Dinc the Legend. The founding father of the Turkish Gaming Industry. A very close friend. Erhan visited and told him how the blockchain and NFT technologies solve the gamers’ problems. He gets excited. The rest is a roller coaster. If you have Mev Dinc aboard you need to onboard the bests in class. We are visual animals unlike dogs. So a great game has to be great on the visual part. 3d arts, animation, visual effects. Who do you go to in Turkey? Again no contest Onur Cayli. The creator of White Walkers race for Game of Thrones. He amazingly did the same for The Amazing Spider Man, Terminator Genisys, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Antman, Man in Black 3, Marvel vs Capcom, Sonic, etc. We aim to be the Blizzard of GameFi. We gathered a great team on the blockchain part as well. Our blockchain team won the Avalanche Hackathon. So we are equally strong there.

AMA fatigue or not, you are bringing the heat. Generally, we don’t get this level of detail in answers so appreciate what you do, what you do.

Moving along — While it’s undeniable that behind Heros Chained lies a bunch of experts, I doubt there were no difficulties either in development or technicality. In terms of these challenges, how did you overcome them? And do you think some of these challenges would have been avoided had you been developing on another chain?

Ersin Taskin| Heroes Chained

We truly believe in decentralization and too technical to go with L2. Thus we had to do it with L1. You don’t have much choice there. We studied mainnet and chose Avalanche and Solana to study in further detail. We believe they are both great. Both Avalabs and Solana Labs teams responded positively to our project. We chose Avalanche. Avalanche we believe is the most developer friendly mainnet out there.

We aimed for the Solana — Star Atlas model, in which the mainnet and the game project work closely. We have innovative ideas to solve p2e challenges and this required deep technical Collab with the mainnet team. We believe we would mean more to Avalanche as the flagship game-fi project on the mainnet. We believe with the game-fi subnets, Avalanche transaction fees will be lower and high capacity will be dedicated to the game(s) on the subnet with good parameters. Our technical team and Avalabs have a good communication which will increase with GameFi Subnet we are working on. With the Avalanche hackathon championship we have closer contacts with the leadership. We are impressed by the transaction speed of Avalanche. The time it takes from request to commitment on the ledger is the fastest we have seen on Avalanche.

For non-coiners we had to develop a custodial wallet option. And that is a challenge. High quality 3 models in mobile game play was a challenge and the only way is to work with the best people in the class.

Integrating the wallet with Avalanche is easier thanks to developer friendly API.

In the long term, I would bet on mainnet where the developers go. So, I am bullish on Avalanche in the long run. However, you are right Avalanche is not as strong as Solana, BSC, Ethereum, Polygon, etc. on GameFi, and we all need to work hard to get Avalanche to where it technically deserves.

We are over 30 people developing the game. And we have other people in management business development social media, community development etc. The team is growing so fast i cant tell the exact number. We are also hiring people. Game developers, etc.

That is a sizable operation to be sure..

A few of the problems that Heros Chained challenges are the common issues surrounding games, namely asset ownership, interoperability, governance and so on. Can you describe to us the solution that Heros Chained provides as a way of addressing these issues?

Ersin Taskin| Heroes Chained

Sure. NFT technology helps gamers own the assets they earned playing or paying truly, legally and freely. They can trade them independently. NFT on BC provides proof of provenance and authenticity. Gamers always wanted to have interoperability but the big Game Studios did not want it. With the BC and NFT technologies it is easier to develop interoperability among gameVerses. With the metaverse evolution I believe games that are interoperable will have a higher chance to grow. We design HC with interoperability in mind. Finally, gamers used to be just customers of Game Studios. With the BC and NFT revolution finally they can stake their governance tokens to govern the game they drive. Remember we have only one currency for in-game currency and governance. And it is fixed-cap, thus deflationary.

Being on the blockchain is exciting and in rhythm with the crypto sphere, but this exposure can come at a security cost. From the security point of view, what actions/plans have been taken to minimize these potential risks? Has there been smart-contract audits, if so are the results publicly available?

Just Google super rational attack to see my posts on the cryptography mail list on BC security. We have a strong blockchain team. Remember we won the Avalanche hackathon. And we had Prof Sirer and Kevin Sekniqi in the jury. However, experts can make mistakes and therefore we had our contracts audited and approved by Certik.

There are a lot of activities that players are able to explore once the game is released, like the battles, NFTs, PvP, PvE, with some of them being available before the MVP. From a high level perspective, can you discuss these game mechanics and how they work?

Please watch our teaser to get some feeling of the story. We believe in story for RPG games. HC is an fantasy action-rpg game. The fantasy world of Ventuna, which is home to many races and lands, has been ravaged by the Dark Lord Oblivion and his eternal champions. In a last stance to fight back, all the races gathered together, secured with magic spells and created the biggest city to be known in all history, ‘Last Hope’. Behind her walls, and the magic dome, the city is able to sustain the many races and protect them from the Dark Lord Oblivion’s reach and influence. Outside the walls; the further you go, the more it takes.

Players own a ‘Guild’ and gather heroes. Guild is a place to call home. Your heroes is like a family or team. You compete against others, and complete missions to become the ultimate guild in the city of Last Hope! Players can PvE by sending their heroes beyond the walls of the city, to defeat enemies found roaming the map, uncover nodes and buy the land to claim them, find dungeons and claim artifacts, complete missions. PvP elements include Guild vs Guild or Team vs Team by creating alliances between guilds allowing for Tournaments and Leagues (official or unofficial).

At the battles the player has to chose five heroes from his/her team of heroes. Best strategy requires the best combination of various classes and races. Heroes have various abilities and the player also has guild cards for spells. The player can interfere with the real-time fight using these cards real-time. It is a very unique experience so I suggest people follow us as we will be releasing gameplay content in the course of time. You have a garage in your guild , because you need a caravan to roam outside the city walls. Gather resources, craft gear, upgrade your items, guild, garage, caravan. You level up your heroes. You breed your heroes when they get to the max rank. Build, explore, trade, battle, team up. Play and earn. Stake and DeFi your tokens and NFT’s.

How does it feel to have come first place in the Avalanche Hacks? Has this been a principal factor for deciding to continue development in the ecosystem? And while on this topic, has any of the development done during the hackathon been implemented in building Heros Chained?

Thank you for asking. We want to collaborate deeply with our mainnet because we have inventions and innovations for GameFi. That is why we offered Avalabs to be our backer and collaborator. We have a great and reputable team but you have to deliver and show. When we heard about the Avalanche Hacks and heard that EGS and Kevin Sekniqi are in the jury to study and evaluate the projects on the source code level, we thought this is a good opportunity to attract their attention. We had already attracted the attention and they had already decided to be our backer, but yeah we did our best. Such a great satisfaction.

How do you envision this disruptive potential to transform the landscape?

I believe we are starting the GameFi 2.0 with real game studios coming to the space and disrupting P2E and replacing it with P&E. That will be huge. We need a Blizzard in GameFi. We aim to fill that gap, as Blizzard fans.

We are also working on a long-term vision called Proof of Turing consensus mechanism called POT. POT is an alternative to POW and POS. In POT the game play by human gamers secure consensus. Thus, transaction fees go to the gamers not the miners or stakers. Transaction fess is a billion-dollar business in crypto and trillion-dollar business in the real world.

This is something huge and long term. We need to talk about it separately.

We are gamers, we are guild. We drive metaverse economy, we secure it. And we get the transaction fees.

Decentralization is truly achieved when you decentralize to the people.

I am talking about millions not a thousand validators.

We don’t burn tokens. We have a single token with fixed cap. We don’t have one deflationary and one inflationary token unlike most big gamefi projects. Our single token is for both governance and in game currency. So when the game economy grows there is no central authority inflating the currency. The holders savings gain value.

And also utility of tokens decreases circulation

It’s not our roadmap per se that presents a challenge — these are deliverables and a known quantity to us. The challenge with developing with new technologies that are ever evolving is how you can keep your “ear on the street.” Innovation comes at breakneck speed and I think all teams must be willing to embrace things on the fly. A measure of adaptation is necessary and these little shifts in strategy or tech can come with little warning. So I think the challenge is not in the roadmap but really in how wide you can make that road and still be comfortable and productive. First challenge is that you have a bottleneck on the 3d art creation if you create everything from pencil sketches. We try to overcome this by working with a great team and we work in parallels. While the art team is creating our front end team is using Unity assets and dummy models for developing and replacing them as new modes arrive from the art team.

Teams have to work in parallels to achieve the ambitious roadmap we have.

We need a Blizzard in GameFi and we aim to have the first movers advantage on that spot.

Thank you for this question. With all that is going on, we really don’t have a chance to look back. That said, yes, we have a come long way. Assembling and coordinating a team of this magnitude to share a vision has taken a lot already and of course the enormous amounts of work that have gone into the game already. Still, the road ahead of us is longer than what is behind us so I thank you for giving me a moment’s pause. we have won the Avalanche Hackathon. That was huge. Having our dream mainnet as our backer. Like the Solana — Star talas model. Check. Forming the backers we have and the successful IDO we are having now. Also building over 50 K followers on Twitter same on TG and Discord. Vibrant community and we have just gone out of stealth mode. Crypto Ratings have rated our IDO as number one in the world in January 2022. This is amazing.
